Safe Harbor Shelter
Safe Harbor is a shelter for abused women and children which provides a safe and secure shelter in which they can re-build their lives in a violence-free environment.
Safe Harbor operates with the support of the Calvert County Commissioners, the Calvert County Health Department, Safe Harbor, Inc. (a non-profit organization), and private donations from the community.
Safe Harbor provides intervention, prevention and education to promote non-violent family
interaction. Safe Harbor offers resources and case management for women and children suffering from domestic abuse issues.
Breaking the Cycle
Safe Harbor raises awareness of physical, emotional and sexual abuse in relationships to eliminate the cycle of violence.
